Automatic Door Service Areas: Where We Install and Where We Supply

Our automatic door service areas split cleanly in two, and we would rather be plain about it than let you find out after ordering: we install across Gauteng, and we supply operators and spare parts nationwide across South Africa. We do not export.

Automatic door service areas where we install

Installation is carried out from our Laser Park facility in Johannesburg, across Gauteng: Johannesburg, Pretoria and the greater East and West Rand. That includes Roodepoort, Randburg, Sandton and Midrand, with the wider province covered on our Gauteng page.

Keeping installation inside one province is deliberate, and it is why our automatic door service areas are drawn where they are. It is what lets us commit to attending a failed entrance, and it is why our service contract response times mean something rather than being a line in a document.

Automatic door service areas where we supply only

Outside Gauteng our automatic door service areas are supply only. Operators, sensors, access control hardware and genuine spare parts ship nationwide — Cape Town, Durban, Gqeberha, Bloemfontein, Polokwane, Nelspruit, East London, Kimberley and everywhere between. Our regional guide covers what each area typically specifies.

What that means in practice: you or your contractor fits the unit, and we support the specification beforehand. We will confirm the opening, the operator size and the sensor arrangement from your measurements so the right kit arrives. What we will not do is pretend we can commission a door in Durban from Johannesburg.

Ordering from outside our installation area

  • Send measurements first. Structural opening width and height, leaf weight if automating an existing door, and whether there is power at the head. Our installation checklist covers the rest.
  • Confirm the operator. The MC-125 sliding system is R27 590 and the MCW-100 swing operator R15 900, both published.
  • Add the sensors deliberately. Activation and safety units are different jobs; both are published in our spare parts range.
  • Plan the commissioning. Whoever fits it must set opening and closing speeds, hold-open time and reversal behaviour, and prove the door holds open for a person in the opening — the principle behind EN 16005.

Spares reach every automatic door service area

This is where nationwide supply matters most. Because the MC-125 is assembled in South Africa at our Laser Park facility, the parts that go into it are the parts we stock — from a R195.00 floor guide to a R5 190.95 motor drive unit, all published. A control board for a door in Kimberley ships from Johannesburg, not from overseas. See the repair cost guide for how symptoms map to parts, and the opener service guide for what genuine servicing covers.

Why our automatic door service areas are stated honestly

Plenty of suppliers list every province and sort the details out later. We would rather you knew the boundary before you order, because an entrance that is fitted badly and cannot be attended is worse than one that was never automated. If your building is outside Gauteng and you need installation as well as supply, say so up front and we will tell you honestly whether we can help or point you elsewhere.

Frequently asked questions

Do you install automatic doors outside Gauteng?

No. We install across Gauteng — Johannesburg, Pretoria and the greater East and West Rand. Outside the province we supply operators, sensors and genuine spare parts nationwide, but we do not install or service on site.

Do you export automatic doors outside South Africa?

No. We supply within South Africa only.

Can I buy an operator and have my own contractor fit it?

Yes, and that is how most orders outside Gauteng work. Send us your measurements and we will confirm the operator size and sensor arrangement before you order so the right kit arrives.

Are spare parts available nationwide?

Yes. Genuine MC-125 and MCW-100 parts are held locally and ship anywhere in South Africa at published prices.

Tell us where the building is. Send the location, opening size and daily traffic and we will confirm which of our automatic door service areas it falls into — installation, or supply only. See our automatic door supplier page for the full range.
