Description

Hinged Door 1000 × 2600 mm Y-Louvre (Single) — made to order in South Africa and priced online, supplied direct by Coetz™.

Hinged Door – 1000 × 2600 mm, Y-Louvre (Single)

A made-to-order 1000 × 2600 mm aluminium hinge door with a single hinged leaf fitted with Y-Louvre inserts. A Y-Louvre insert replaces the glass with aluminium louvre blades, so the door lets air through while screening the view and cutting direct sun. Powder-coated aluminium, supplied nationwide across South Africa.

Where a Y-Louvre hinge door works best

Louvres suit openings that need airflow and privacy more than a weather seal: covered patios and braai areas, laundries and sculleries, service yards, plant and pump rooms, and storerooms. Because a Y-Louvre insert is not weatherproof, specify it where a roof or overhang keeps the rain off.

Y-Louvre or glass?

If you need a door that seals against the weather and lets you see out, choose the glazed large-pane hinge door in the same size, glazed with 6.38 mm clear laminated safety glass as standard: Hinged Door 1000 × 2600 mm (glazed). Choose Y-Louvre when ventilation, shade and screening matter more than a weather-tight seal.
