Using this website
- You may browse, order and print pages from this website for your own use or for a project you are pricing.
- You may not use the site to place fraudulent orders, to scrape or republish our content or pricing, or in any way that damages the site or interferes with another person’s use of it.
- We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the site, including products and prices, without notice.
- We take reasonable care to keep product information accurate, but drawings, renderings and photographs are illustrative. The written specification on your order is what governs.
Quotations
- A quotation is valid for the period stated on that quotation. Where no period is stated, please treat it as an indication rather than a firm offer and ask us to confirm before you rely on it.
- Quotations are based on the sizes, configurations, colours and glass specifications supplied to us. If any of those change, the price changes with them.
- Where we have quoted from information you supplied rather than our own measurements, the figure is subject to confirmation against the actual opening.
Orders and acceptance
- Placing an order on the website is an offer to buy. A contract comes into existence when we confirm the order and payment has cleared, not when the order is submitted.
- We may decline an order — for example where a product is no longer available, where the specification is not manufacturable, or where a price or description was obviously incorrect. If we decline an order that you have already paid for, we refund it in full.
- Please check the size, opening direction, colour and glass specification on your order confirmation carefully. See Product disclaimer below.
Prices, VAT and errors
- All prices are in South African Rand and are shown excluding VAT. VAT is calculated automatically at the applicable South African rate (currently 15%) and added at checkout — see our FAQ and Delivery pages for details.
- Delivery is charged separately and is calculated at checkout based on your delivery zone and the shipping class of the items ordered.
- Trade pricing is subject to a separate approved Trade Account agreement.
- Prices can change at any time before your order is accepted. Where an obvious pricing or description error appears, we will contact you before proceeding rather than simply processing the order.
Payment
- Online orders are paid in full at checkout, using the payment methods offered there. We do not store your card details; payments are processed by the payment provider you select.
- Production of made-to-order items begins once payment has cleared.
- Approved Trade Account customers are invoiced on the terms recorded in their Trade Account agreement.
- Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery or on collection. Ownership passes once we have received payment in full.
Made-to-order goods, changes and cancellations
Most of what we supply is manufactured to the size, configuration, colour and glass specification you select. That has a direct consequence for changes and cancellations.
- You may request a change or cancellation before production begins. Contact us as soon as possible on 010 412 0062 or sales@coetzglazing.co.za and we will tell you whether the order can still be amended.
- Once a made-to-order item is in production it cannot be cancelled or changed, because it cannot be resold to another customer.
- Stock items that have not been dispatched can normally be cancelled. Ask us and we will confirm.
- Nothing here limits or excludes any right available to you under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 or other applicable South African law.
Delivery and collection
- Free collection is available from our Laser Park premises by arrangement. Please wait for confirmation that your order is ready before travelling to collect.
- Delivery rates, zones, oversized-item handling and what a delivery does and does not include are set out on our Delivery page.
- Delivery dates are estimates given in good faith. We will tell you if something changes rather than letting a date pass silently.
- Please inspect your order on delivery or collection and report any damage or shortage within 48 hours, as set out in our Returns & Refunds policy.
Product disclaimer
Please confirm the product size, opening direction and installation clearances before ordering.
Coetz Glazing supplies standard-size aluminium windows and doors based on the dimensions, colour, glass and opening options selected by the customer at the time of order. It is the customer’s responsibility to measure the opening accurately (see our Installation Guides), select the correct opening direction and configuration, confirm sufficient installation clearance, and arrange a suitably qualified installer.
Coetz Glazing is not responsible for incorrect customer-supplied measurements, and cannot accept returns on made-to-order products cut to an incorrect customer-supplied size.
Installation responsibility
Coetz Glazing is a supply-only business — we do not install aluminium windows or doors. Installation is arranged and carried out entirely by the customer or the customer’s chosen installer. We are not responsible for installation quality, workmanship, or any damage arising from installation, nor for structural, weatherproofing, or building-regulation compliance of the completed installation. We recommend using an appropriately qualified and insured installer.
Warranty on the product itself is separate from any workmanship guarantee your installer may offer — see our Warranty page.
Returns and warranty
- Our returns process, delivery-inspection requirements and refund conditions are set out in full on our Returns & Refunds page.
- Warranty periods and what is and is not covered are set out on our Warranty page.
- Warranty claims are assessed against the product as supplied. Damage caused during installation, alteration of the product, or lack of maintenance is not a manufacturing defect.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by South African law, and without limiting your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008, Coetz™ is not liable for installation costs, removal or reinstallation costs, consequential losses, loss of business, loss of profits, or delays caused by warranty inspections or replacement manufacturing. Our liability is limited to the repair, replacement or refund of the affected product, at our discretion.
Intellectual property
- The content of this website — including text, product drawings and elevations, photographs, layout and the Coetz™ name and logo — belongs to us or is used with permission, and is protected by South African and international copyright and trade mark law.
- You may not copy, republish, resell or systematically extract our content, product data or pricing without our written permission.
- You may share links to our pages, and quote short extracts with attribution.
Privacy and cookies
How we collect and handle personal information is set out in our Privacy Policy, and the cookies this site sets are listed in our Cookie Policy.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page when you place your order is the version that applies to that order. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
Governing law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any dispute arising from the use of this website or the purchase of products shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.

Our terms and conditions in plain language

- Installation. Aluminium windows and doors are supply only; your installer is responsible for the installation. Automatic doors and shopfronts are installed by MC Automations under their own quotation.
- Warranty and returns. Set out on our warranty and returns and refunds pages.
- Your rights. Nothing in these terms and conditions limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act.
Before you order: what these terms ask of you

Our terms and conditions put a few responsibilities on the customer, because we make products to the information you give us:
- Measure accurately. Measure the structural opening, not the old frame. See how to measure aluminium windows.
- Choose the right configuration, including the opening direction and the hinge side.
- Allow installation clearance around every frame, as advised by your installer.
- Book a suitably qualified installer before the order arrives.
- Check the order confirmation carefully, and tell us at once if anything is wrong.
Terms and conditions for trade customers

Builders, contractors and developers who buy regularly can apply for a trade account. Approved trade customers are invoiced on the terms in their trade account agreement, which works alongside these terms and conditions. Everything else, including made-to-order rules, delivery inspection and the warranty, applies in the same way.
Your consumer rights
These terms and conditions are written to sit within South African consumer law, not to override it. The Consumer Protection Act](https://www.gov.za/documents/consumer-protection-act) and the National Consumer Commission explain consumer rights in South Africa. How we handle personal information is covered by our [privacy policy under POPIA.
