Reduce to clear is where we sell old stock: aluminium windows and doors that are new and have never been installed – from changed orders, cancelled jobs and sizes or colours we no longer make – at a set percentage below the normal shop price. Quantities are limited, so when an item is gone, it is gone.

Why stock is reduced to clear

Every Coetz™ window and door is made to order, so old stock only happens when plans change: a customer changes a size after the frame is made, a job is cancelled, or we stop making a size or colour. Rather than keep it on the rack, we reduce to clear at half the normal price. The quality is exactly the same as our made-to-order range – the same aluminium frames, powder coat, hardware and 6.38 mm laminated safety glass.

Check the size before you buy

A reduce to clear window or door cannot be changed, so measure your opening before you add it to your cart. Measure the width at the top, middle and bottom, and the height at the left, middle and right, then use the smallest figure. Leave a fitting gap so the frame can be packed and sealed – our guide on how to measure aluminium windows shows how much.

How it works

• New, never installed. Every item is unused stock from our Laser Park workshop.
• Reduced price. Each item shows its normal shop price and the reduce-to-clear price, excluding VAT.
• Collection only. Clearance items are collected from our workshop in Laser Park, Johannesburg – no delivery, which keeps the price down.
• As listed. Sizes, colours and glass are exactly as described on each item; they cannot be changed or made to a different size.

Reduce-to-clear items are a final sale for change of mind, so please check the size against your opening before you buy – our guide on how to measure aluminium windows helps. Genuine defects are still covered under the Consumer Protection Act and our warranty.

Collecting your reduce-to-clear order

Reduce to clear stock is collection only from our workshop at Unit 2, 84 Ridge Road, Laser Park, Johannesburg, Monday to Thursday 07:30–16:30 and Friday 07:30–15:00. Bring your order number, and a vehicle the window or door fits in – a bakkie or an SUV for larger items – with blankets and straps to protect it on the drive. We will help you load it.

Your rights on clearance stock

A final sale means no returns for change of mind or a wrong size you ordered. It does not take away your rights on quality: a manufacturing defect is still covered under the Consumer Protection Act and our warranty – 5 years on frames, glass and powder coat and 2 years on hardware and seals.

Can the size, colour or glass be changed?

No. Each item is sold exactly as listed. For a different size, colour or glass, order a made-to-order aluminium window or aluminium door, or use the online estimator.

How do I pay, and is the item reserved for me?

Add the item to your cart and pay online at checkout. There is only one of each, so an item is yours once the order is paid – it is not held in a cart.

Do you install reduce-to-clear windows?
