Description
Glazed Hinged Door 900 × 2100 mm Classic — made to order in South Africa and priced online, supplied direct by Coetz™.
Where a hinge door 900 × 2100 works best
Side entrances, scullery and laundry doors, garden doors off a kitchen, and internal-to-external doors on a patio where a sliding door is unnecessary. At 900 × 2100 mm it matches the standard door opening used throughout South African residential construction, so it drops into a conventional structural opening.
How a hinged door differs from a slider
A hinged door swings, so it needs clear arc space on one side, but it seals differently and is simpler mechanically — hinges and a lock rather than rollers and a track. For a door used many times a day, that simplicity is an advantage. It is one of the most specified sizes we build, which is why we keep the hinge door 900 × 2100 as a standard catalogue item rather than a custom order.
Hinge door 900 × 2100: fitting notes
The frame is manufactured 10 mm under the catalogue size in each direction. Decide the opening direction before ordering: whether the door opens in or out, and which side the hinges sit, determines the handing of the whole unit and cannot be swapped afterwards. Check the swing arc against furniture, steps and any outward-opening window on the same elevation.
Glass and finish on this hinge door 900 × 2100
Every unit is glazed as standard with 6.38 mm clear laminated safety glass. Laminated glass holds together on impact because the interlayer retains the fragments, which is why it is our standard rather than an upgrade. The frame is powder coated in your choice of Black, White, Bronze, Charcoal or Natural Anodised.
Ordering this hinge door 900 × 2100
This is a made-to-order unit with a lead time of 1–2 days from order. Aluminium windows and doors are supplied only — installation is arranged by your own builder or installer, which keeps the manufactured product separate from the installation contract. Collection is from Laser Park, Roodepoort, with Gauteng delivery and national supply options depending on the order and destination.
If your opening does not match this size, we manufacture to your dimensions — send the structural opening width and height and we will confirm what can be built. Final responsibility for measurements rests with the customer, so check the opening before ordering.

A made-to-order 900 × 2100 mm hinged aluminium door in the Classic (Glazed) design. Choose whether the door opens in or opens out – the direction is built into the door at manufacture, so it must be selected before you order. Both directions cost the same.
