Compliance considerations

Doors and the panels beside them are common human-impact locations, so the glass may need to be safety glazing to SANS 1263. The correct specification depends on the door, its size and its position. Glass door safety →

Description

Vistafold Bi-Fold Door 2400 × 2400 mm 3 Panel Y-Louvre — made to order in South Africa and priced online, supplied direct by Coetz™.

Vistafold Bi-Fold Door – 2400 × 2400 mm, 3 Panel

A made-to-order 2400 × 2400 mm aluminium Vistafold bi-fold door with 3 folding panels that concertina and stack to one side. A Y-Louvre insert replaces the glass with aluminium louvre blades, so the door lets air through while screening the view and cutting direct sun. Powder-coated aluminium, supplied nationwide across South Africa.

Where a Y-Louvre Vistafold bi-fold door works best

Louvres suit openings that need airflow and privacy more than a weather seal: covered patios and braai areas, laundries and sculleries, service yards, plant and pump rooms, and storerooms. Because a Y-Louvre insert is not weatherproof, specify it where a roof or overhang keeps the rain off.

Y-Louvre or glass?

If you need a door that seals against the weather and lets you see out, choose the glazed Vistafold bi-fold door in the same size, glazed with 6.38 mm clear laminated safety glass as standard: Vistafold Bi-Fold Door 2400 × 2400 mm (glazed). Choose Y-Louvre when ventilation, shade and screening matter more than a weather-tight seal.

Ordering

Made to order with a lead time of 1–2 days. Aluminium windows and doors are supplied only — installation is arranged by your own builder or installer. Collection is from Laser Park, Roodepoort, with Gauteng delivery and national supply options depending on the order and destination. Need a different size? Request a quote with your structural opening and we will confirm what can be built.
