Installation and service
- Gauteng: MC Automations installs them; the operator installation is included.
- Rest of South Africa: supply only, for a local installer.
- Service: every six months as standard, with call-outs within 24 hours in Gauteng and 48 hours elsewhere.
- Warranty: 24 months on the operator.

Choosing the right entrance door
Busy entrances suit a bi-parting sliding door; quieter or narrower doors suit a swing operator; lobbies exposed to wind and dust suit a revolving door. Plan battery backup, access control and, on escape routes, breakout or fail-safe operation, with your consultant signing off fire and building requirements. Do you install in my town?
MC Automations installs in Gauteng. Elsewhere in South Africa we supply the doors for a local installer to fit.
Can my existing entrance door be automated?
Often, yes, with an MCW-100 swing operator or an MC-125 sliding operator, if the door suits it.
Do the doors work in power cuts?
Both operators include a battery, so the door keeps working.
How often should they be serviced?
Every six months as standard.
