Two ranges, two size bands
Coetz™ aluminium folding door sizes fall into two ranges.
Vista Duo
Vista Duo is the smaller range, for openings from 1 200 to 3 600 mm wide, in 2 100 and 2 400 mm heights. It comes as a 2 panel door that stacks to one side, or a 4 panel door that stacks to one side or splits in the middle and stacks to both sides.
Vistafold
Vistafold covers wider openings, from 1 800 to 7 200 mm, with 3 to 10 panels that stack together against one side. Most configurations come in 2 100, 2 400 and 2 700 mm heights.

How aluminium folding door sizes are written
A size such as 3 600 × 2 100 mm is the catalogue, or opening, size: width first, then height. The actual frame is 10 mm smaller each way, so a 3 600 × 2 100 mm door has a 3 590 × 2 090 mm frame, leaving room for packing and sealing. See how to measure aluminium doors.

Choosing the right size
- Measure the opening three times across and three times up, and use the smallest readings.
- Pick the nearest standard width below the opening, allowing for the 10 mm frame reduction.
- Choose the panel count. More panels mean narrower, lighter panels but a deeper stack when open.
- Allow for the stack. The folded panels sit at the side of the opening, so leave room for them.
- Choose the height: 2 100 mm for most homes, 2 400 or 2 700 mm for taller openings.

Sizes for renovations
When replacing old doors, measure the opening after the old frame is out. An opening that sits between two standard aluminium folding door sizes is usually best matched to the size below, with the gap packed and sealed, rather than cutting into the wall.
Glass and colours
Every glazed folding door uses 6.38 mm clear laminated safety glass. All five finishes are available: White, Bronze and Charcoal at the same price, Black about 10% more and Natural Anodised about 20% more. Large glass doors must meet SANS 10400-N, published by the South African Bureau of Standards.
