Aluminium windows and doors Musina homeowners and builders order from Coetz™ are made to order in Johannesburg and delivered to Musina and Nancefield, Tshipise and the Musina municipality at the national rate. Every window comes with safety glass and a powder-coated frame that will not rot, swell or need painting through Musina’s very hot, dry summers. This guide covers the climate to plan for, an example house priced with real shop prices, delivery and how to order.
In this guide
Planning for the far northern Limpopo climate
Aluminium windows and doors Musina buyers should plan for very hot summers that often pass 40 °C, low rainfall with occasional heavy storms, mild winters and strong sun all year. Three practical choices follow:
- Cut the heat and glare. West-facing windows and sliding doors can take the tinted glass options priced in the online estimator.
- Ventilate at night. Opening windows on opposite walls after sunset cools a house; side hung windows open wide for a cross-breeze.
- Keep dust out of the tracks. Vacuum sliding window and door tracks often so grit does not wear the rollers.
A deep roof overhang or stoep keeps the sun off the glass, and aluminium will not warp or crack in the heat the way timber can.
