When you replace an old door with aluminium doors Roodepoort installers can fit:

1. Measure the opening once the old frame is out. Measure the width at the top, middle and bottom, and the height at both sides, and use the smallest figure. Our doors are made 10 mm smaller than the catalogue size so they fit with packers and sealant.
2. Check the floor level. The frame sits on the finished floor, so allow for tiles that are still to be laid.
3. Choose the opening direction. For a hinged door, decide whether it opens in or out and which side the hinges are on. The product drawing shows the door as viewed from inside.
4. Plan the security gate. Most Roodepoort homes add a security gate to the patio door. Measure the gate at the same time.

• Free collection from Unit 2, 84 Ridge Road, Laser Park, by arrangement, once your order is ready. A door frame of 2 100 mm or taller needs a bakkie or trailer long enough to carry it flat and secured.
• Delivery is charged once per order. It costs R650 for standard items and R950 for oversized items (over 2 400 mm) within our Johannesburg zone, which includes many Roodepoort postcodes. Elsewhere in Gauteng it costs R950 and R1 350. Checkout works out the rate from your postcode (see delivery).
• Estates usually need the driver’s details at the gate. Arrange access in advance.
