Bronze and Charcoal cost the same as White; Black costs about 10% more. Natural Anodised costs about 20% more, where it is offered. The shop and the online estimator always show the current price.

Dust and tracks

The West Rand is dry and dusty in winter, and a plot driveway adds more. Sliding and folding door tracks collect that dust. Krugersdorp and Randfontein homes

In older Krugersdorp and Randfontein homes, the usual job is replacing a rusted steel back door or front door. Measure the opening once the old frame is out, use the smallest measurement and order the next standard size; our doors are made 10 mm smaller than the catalogue size. For hinged doors, choose open in or open out when you order.

Collection and delivery

• Free collection from Unit 2, 84 Ridge Road, Laser Park, on the western side of Johannesburg. A 2 100 mm door frame fits flat on a bakkie when properly secured. Wide folding doors need a trailer.
• Delivery is charged once per order: R650 (R950 oversized) for postcodes in our Johannesburg zone, such as 1739, and R950 (R1 350 oversized) for the rest of the West Rand. Checkout works out the rate from your postcode (see delivery).
• Farm access: give clear directions, and check that a long frame can reach the house.

Glass, lock and warranty

Glazed doors have 6.38 mm clear laminated safety glass, as SANS 10400-N requires for glass in doors. The standard is published by the South African Bureau of Standards. Sliding doors close with a hook lock. Frames, glass and powder coating are covered for 5 years and hardware and seals for 2 years against manufacturing defects (see our warranty).
