Aluminium Pivot Doors

Aluminium pivot doors: the key facts, in plain language.

Aluminium pivot and swing doors rotate on pivot sets or floor springs instead of edge hinges — a robust, architectural way to hang a heavier entrance door. Coetz™ prices Classic and Large Pane pivot/swing doors online in standard sizes.

Pivot vs swing — what you are choosing

Pivot doors run without a floor spring; swing doors use a floor spring and come in single action (opens one way, in or out) or double action (swings both ways). Both styles are available with the Classic mid-rail leaf or the clean full-glass Large Pane leaf, in 1200 mm and 1500 mm widths at 2100 mm or 2400 mm high. Every drawing is an inside-view elevation with the hinge side marked, and opening direction is confirmed against the drawing before manufacture.

Glass and colour options

Standard glazing is 6.38 mm Clear Laminated Safety Glass on every unit as standard – obscure, tinted or Solarshield glass can be chosen on the product page or in the online estimator. Final glass selections are confirmed before manufacturing.

Standard finish is White, with Bronze, Charcoal, Black and Natural Anodised (N25) also available. Black and Natural Anodised cost the same as White.

Why aluminium is the right choice

For aluminium pivot doors, aluminium is the material that lasts. It will not rust, warp or rot, it shrugs off the South African sun, and it needs almost no maintenance beyond an occasional wipe-down.

Our frames are available in five finishes – White, Bronze, Charcoal, Black and Natural Anodised, all at the same price, so the windows match the architecture instead of fighting it. Slim sightlines let in more glass and more daylight.

Every unit is glazed with 6.38mm laminated safety glass as standard, which improves security, cuts outside noise and holds together if it is ever broken.

We manufacture aluminium pivot doors to your exact sizes in our own factory, so there is no waiting on imported stock and no compromise on fit. Large and repeat orders are planned and delivered on schedule.

From a single building to a full development, Coetz manufactures and supplies what we make. One accountable team, one point of contact, and our manufacturer warranty stands behind every order.
